The Sliter family of Flathead County has generously committed a $100,000 matching challenge to raise needed funding for long-term operations and maintenance of the site as a State Park.

Montana State Parks Have

been there for you.

Montana is a unique place. We live for the outdoors, we love our heritage, and we have some of the finest landscapes in the world right out our back door. Yet, our state park system lags.

Our main goal at the moment is to keep park visitors and staff healthy and safe when visiting State Parks.

Outdoor recreation is more important than ever.  State Parks foster a sense of connection to our great state and provide invaluable mental and physical health benefits.

It is important to keep socially responsible behavior in mind when visiting Montana’s 55 State Parks.

This can include Social distancing when recreating, practicing leave no trace principles, including packing out all waste. This summer, the Montana State Parks Foundation reminds to recreate responsibly at all Montana State Parks

During these unprecedented times we want to encourage you to stay safe, and help us protect our state parks.

For every 100% mindfully-made face mask or shield you buy today, we’ll donate one to State Parks staff and volunteers.

Our fully sublimated masks are made out of flat back mock-mesh moisture-managed 100% polyester with anti-microbial technology (coating good for up to 30 washes).

This is the best way for all of us all to come together and make a difference in this fight.
