When the 66th Montana Legislature took decisive action to keep Big Arm State Park in the state parks system in March of 2019, the Montana State Parks Foundation established the Flathead Action Fund to help support the immediate and possible future needs for the purchase, restoration, and eventual improvement of Big Arm and the five other State Parks on Flathead Lake.

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, the Flathead Action Fund will support the initial recreation easement purchase to be completed in the winter of 2019/20.  Looking into 2020 and beyond, we anticipate additional requests from our State Parks partners for site improvements, amenity upgrades, critical projects, and enhancements to the visitor experience at Flathead Lake State parks, and we'll be ready to answer the call.
